Why You Should Choose A Timber Gate
Unique: The fact is that every single wooden gate we produce is unique – no two pieces of wood are the same. We manufacture all of our gates ourselves and make sure that each retains its personality and unique touch. From the grain and touch, your gate will be one of a kind.
A Natural Look: Wooden gates are such a popular choice because of their classic look. Wooden gates blend in beautifully with natural and wooded areas, making it great as a garden or side gate. Wooden gates also have a warm, homely and welcoming feel, making it a great choice for driveway gates too.
More Flexible Than Metal: One advantage that wooden gates have over metal is their better flexibility. When it comes to adding, changing or removing fixtures and features, wooden gates are far easier to work with than metal.
Change The Appearance: With a wide range of paint and stain options at your disposal, you’re free to get creative in changing the look of your gate. Take a look at what we’ve got on offer here at Village Products. You have the opportunity to change the gate’s appearance as you choose, making your timber gate even more unique to you and your home.
Sustainable: Wood is a more sustainable material than metal, so for those inclined towards sustainable ways of living, wood is definitely the choice for you!

Installing your new gate takes no time. A single gate generally takes a couple of hours to fit while a double gate typically takes around four to five hours. An automated gate usually takes three visits as it involves groundwork, installation of cable and boxes, wiring and the installation of the gate, followed by a full handover to the customer.
Some gates require posts to be installed, which would need to be done on a separate day to the installation of the gate in order to allow the concrete to set.
We can deliver our tailor-made products all over the UK so you can get the perfect product for you wherever you are. We aim to deliver single gates within two to three weeks, and double gates within four weeks, using a reliable courier service. The cost of delivery depends on the area of delivery. When placing an order, you can enter your postcode and our website will calculate the cost of delivery for you.
Our supply and delivery service is ideal for gate automation specialists and landscapers who would like to purchase our gates for their projects.
